He will be hosted by the RCCG National Legal Adviser, Mrs. Titi Adegbile. The Legal Officers’ Conference is the largest gathering of barristers and solicitors who render professional legal services in multiple capacities to the Redeemed Christian Church of God. The theme for this year’s conference is “Next Levels for the Multi-tasking Lawyer”..

at the International Bar Association Annual Conference 2019 taking place from 22 nd - 27 th September 2019 in Seoul, South Korea. The Session takes places on 26th September 2019 (11:15am-12:30pm) on the topic: “I know that I know nothing: lessons to lawyers”.
We congratulate our Senior Counsel, Adekunbi Ogunde, on being selected on a highly competitive basis for the funded Africa Arbitration Academy set to hold in London in June 2019. The 2019 cohort of the Africa Arbitration Academy is a representation of 15 countries in Africa. At Wemimo Ogunde & Co, we actively seek ways to develop our people and build expertise. Challenges for the Modern Commonwealth”.

On February 6th 2019, President Muhammadu Buhari assented to the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Bill which repealed certain sections of the Investment and Securities Act 2007 namely sections 118- 128 (excluding section 121(1) (d)) of the ISA 2007. Based on the statement issued by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the effect of this repeal on merger transactions is that SEC will no longer be involved with mergers between private companies but will now be restricted to mergers involving public companies and change in the shareholding of capital market operators.
